Reviews and Ratings
During my recent stay at this resort, I had a bit of a mixed experience. The room was spacious and quite luxurious, resembling a five-star western suite rather than a traditional ryokan. I enjoyed the exquisite French dining and delicious Japanese breakfast. However, I was hoping for a more authentic ryokan atmosphere, which was lacking. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but if you're looking for a traditional experience, this might not meet your expectations.
I was a bit surprised when I arrived at this resort, expecting a traditional ryokan experience. The suite we booked was spacious and reminiscent of a 5-star Western hotel, but it didn't quite have the authentic feel I was hoping for. Dinner was a delightful French fine dining experience, and I really enjoyed the Japanese breakfast, which was delicious. While it was a lovely place, it felt more tailored for local patrons looking for a novelty rather than the true ryokan ambiance I had in mind.
I had a unique stay at this resort that offered a blend of traditional elements with a modern twist. The suite was surprisingly spacious and felt more like a luxurious hotel room than a traditional ryokan. While I loved the dining experience, especially the delicate French dinner, it wasn't the authentic ryokan atmosphere I was hoping for. The Japanese breakfast was a delightful highlight, but overall, the westernized approach may not be for everyone.
I had a unique experience at this resort that blended modern luxury with traditional aspects. The suite we stayed in was spacious and felt more like a 5-star hotel than a typical ryokan. Dining was a standout feature with exquisite French cuisine, although I was hoping for a more authentic traditional experience. While the resort was lovely, it didn't completely meet my expectations of a classic ryokan stay.
I had a unique stay at this resort, expecting a traditional ryokan, but it turned out to be more of a western-style experience. The room was spacious and felt like a suite from a 5-star hotel, which was a pleasant surprise. The dining options were superb, especially the Japanese breakfast, but the overall experience lacked the traditional vibe I was looking for. It's a nice place in itself, but for those after an authentic ryokan feel, it may not meet the expectations.
