Kanaya Resort Hakone, Hakone

During my recent stay at this resort, I had a bit of a mixed experience. The room was spacious and quite luxurious, resembling a five-star western suite rather than a traditional ryokan. I enjoyed the exquisite French dining and delicious Japanese breakfast. However, I was hoping for a more authentic ryokan atmosphere, which was lacking. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but if you're looking for a traditional experience, this might not meet your expectations.
